The Tech Week Challenge 2020
Put yourself together a team of up to 5 people who are as equally awesome as you but have different skillsets to contribute to game design and building: designing, developing, project managing, art-ing!! :) Follow the process outlined in the course below to create a plan for a game that will add value to the world. The best outcome is a working prototype to go with your plan. The challenge is open to all New Zealand Year 7-13 students. You can start as soon as you've signed up. Make sure you register your team (Section 6, Step 3 in the course below). During Tech Week (27 July to 2 August) we will have guest presentations from people in the New Zealand gaming industry to give you expert advice and to give you insight into jobs and careers in the industry.
We've got prizes!
The top 3 teams will each receive a prize of $300 in vouchers of their own choice!
The gaming industry is booming in New Zealand and will earn over NZD150 million this year.
